Here we are GoJu Nation… I was on the road this time last week so I wasn’t able to get to da charts. I have remedied that this week. And with the Grammy’s this weekend I want GoJu Nation to pay close attention the next couple of weeks. Because this is one of those periods where the charts can spike sales wise. So take a strong look at the numbers and see if your favorite album gets a major boost based on this Sunday’s award show…. FYI.com for the record if Adele doesn’t win song & record of the year, I’ll believe the awards are officially rigged. Now let’s delve into this week’s listings…
Four new albums cracking the top 20 this week GoJu Nation. Lana Del Rey (watch this artist… it feels like Adele lite time), Leonard Cohen, Fred Hammond (the annual surprise gospel album that cracks the chart) & The Fresh Beat Band (if you don’t know ask your kids). Now for my muscial random thoughts. Can Drake get to the 2 million mark with this album? Can Rihanna get to the platinum mark with her current album? And finally does LMFAO have platinum legs with their current project. Now all of these artists are visible enough and have the radio push to get there. But, its up to GoJu Nation to actually help these artists pull this off. Quality over quantity right guys. I’m off the soapbox. Enjoy da album charts and we’ll see you eventually. Deuces.
