Here we are GoJu Nation. And the holidays are right around the corner. This means we’re gonna have to ramp up da movie charts over here at GothamJungle. I was literally at the movies yesterday which sparked this thought process. We haven’t been bombarded yet with the Christmas and animation movies but that will change very quickly here in the next couple weeks. Your also gonna get a strong dose of emotional and award-winning book movies as this is the last of the Oscar push for these film companies. So lets take a look at what transpired this weekend. There is an interesting trend.

Here we go. Tarantino strikes again!. Did you really think a Brad Pitt/Quentin Tarantino August summer movie wouldn’t be #1? Well no worries there. Other notes: G.I. Joe staying in the top 3 this week. They’ve dropped in theaters but still have a nice following. May speak to the point of how solid the film concept is. Julia & Julia is also showing it has the legs to be the non-action winner this summer. It looks like Kathering Heigl has some legs also as her movie “The Ugly Truth” has clipped the 80M mark after 8 weeks. She’s looking to be this generations Julia Roberts. Anyway here your top 10!
