I wonder how much of a success this single would have if there wasn’t an American Idol to piggy back? I’m not sayin, I’m just saying. Here we are GoJu Nation. Week 6 and counting as Eminem‘s “Recovery” is looking like the album of the summer. Turning back the clock is what he is doing as his sales figures are reminiscent of album past. 1.6M and counting as he’s only just putting legs on his 2nd single. Wonderful stuff. And the album is worth it. Even if you (for some weird reason) aren’t a Marshall Mathers fan. Being honest and revealing with your fans can bring about amazing results.
So even in the hopes that the music can stand on its own, it seems that “beef” will always be apart of the hiphop culture. In this slow period of music sales (with the exception of Jay-Z and Eminem), 50 Cent is making sure he gets mentioned in the elite rappers that can still move units. In true 50 form, he is sticking to the plan that seems to work for him and creating a buzz where until he speaks there was none. Check the video and let us know your thoughts. But I mst say these words come in perfect timing to precede the release of his album.
