This award show has been the official 12-34 demographic last hurrah before the school season is officially in full swing. And the stars seemed to be aligned for a successful broadcast. We had Kevin Hart (who is the current “it” comedian) hosting. We had Kanye West & Kim Kardashian making a public appearance. Wiz Khalifa & Kanye’s ex Amber Rose made a public baby bump announcement also. And let’s not forget Rihanna & Chris Brown sitting next to each other. What could go wrong? As a barometer, remember that if the 20th album in the country is under fifteen thousand in units, then it’s a down week for sure. Longevity is the key with this chart listing. And your album will have to contain multiple gems to keep this generations attention. It’s worth mentioning that projects in other mediums also have a huge impact on sales. This movie ‘
