She is riding the “it” wave GoJu Nation. Rihanna has her seventh studio album ready for you. AND “Unapologetic” is the appropriate title for this opus. For an eight year career that’s pretty prolific. That part of the game she and her label (Def Jam) have fully figured out. Enough artists aren’t aware of what their presence represents to pop culture, therefore their timing is askew. Which over time becomes a slippery slope for the millennial A.D.D. generation. But Ri-Ri doesn’t have that issue. A wild child persona combined with her lightning rod social network status and people you are looking at what a current super-star is. Has she made another album to validate that? Let’s take a look.

~Mive Content – Just to keep you in the know GoJu Nation. This is another case of using the reality show vehicle as a platform to jump-start a career. I’m not knocking the hustle per se but I am letting you know to be aware that the judges are now overshadowing the contestants by promoting their projects when they could/should be helping/encouraging the fledgling new comers. Food for thought. If there was no “The Voice” would Miss Aguilera be promoting a new project by performing two of her singles on the show. I’m not sayin, I’m just SAYING. Now fan favorite Q’ban is here with the review of Christina’s newest album “Lotus”…
Realizing Every Dream (R.E.D.) is the fifth studio album for R&B singer, songwriter, producer & artist Ne-Yo. This is his 1st album since moving floors in the Universal building from Def Jam to Motown. Let’s not forget he’s also serving as Motown SVP of A&R. So the test of balancing his craft with being an executive is at hand. One of his monikers has been he’s carried the torch for true R&B. He’s been nominated for multiple Grammy’s and has written for every artist of note for this generation (Beyonce` & Rihanna for example). Now the one thing that has eluded him has been the blockbuster sales project. Now he’s no slouch by far (he has experiences platinum plus status in career) but the 3million plus juggernaut we have yet to see. To his defense (as the rest of the industry) we are in changing times. So lets see if this project has the goods.
It’s been a couple of months so please forgive my neglect. Our CEO has been doing some big things personally and I had to be there to support. Yes, it never ends for Mive over here in GothamJungle. But I’ve escaped long enough to put da album charts in your possession. And I’ve instantly noticed the

As explained last week GoJu Nation, the school return rush took all the disposable income left for album purchases. Yet that isn’t the case this week so a rebound is in order. Now something else to keep in mind, the fall TV season is underway. This doesn’t preclude the buying public but it may delay it. I only look for shows that feature music to maximize on this scenario. So look for ‘

The dog is back with his long awaited album, “Undisputed”. The big questions are, could we have waited longer?… Should he even do an album? “X” returns to us going indie, f#ck the majors because they didn’t understand him. Hmm… after listening to the latest installment, I get why they didn’t.
