tank

GoJuNation, I pose this question… Who smashed the R&B scene the hardest in 2009? Let’s debate… First up “Tank”, Mr. always consistent has done work in the past year with the likes of Chris Brown, Pleasure P, Keri Hilson, Day 26, LeToya Luckett, and Ginuwine to name a few. He is still in the game heavy, but I can’t say he has ruled the charts. But wait… if track record is the barometer then he is the dude.

This Week on Da Charts-Da Albums (By Mive Content)

Here we go… I’ve told you before quality over quantity.  That’s how this millenial generation rolls.  The MySpace sensationf of 2007 returns with her 2nd album debuting at #1.  Colbie Caillat returns with Album number 2, “Breakthrough”.  Simple math here children.  Qualitative music that a fan base can continuously follow (not treated like it’s Fort Knox and your privileged to even hear it) and we’ll buy it (album not just the single). Other notes:  Half of the albums in the top 20 are album debuts.  Take a strong look at that.  There are some new gems that have been released.  This is also a comsumer indication that the summer is officially over and we’ve moved on the newer projects.  Lalonne/Max, thanks for the love and here’s your top 20!  Enjoy!!!!
