Although it cheated with a couple of earlier releases around the country, this past week “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” has broken the opening weekend debut mark with over $169M in receipts. The final chapter of this phenomenon is ending on a major high note. Grossing over $6.5B in receipts makes this the most successful movie franchise ever. Especially for a 8 movie stretch. In this age of social network and media being what it is, I’ll be surprised to see if another movie franchise will captivate the world the way the world of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft And Wizardry has.

Monday and off hiatus. Were back GoJu Nation. And that means da movie charts. So let’s get into it. Of course Transformers 3 is the number one movie for the 2nd week in the row. What’s great about this is that the movie itself is good. Transformers 2 wasn’t as sexy as it needed to be as a sequel and the appropriate changes were made accessing the missteps made in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Dark of the Moon is the truth.
