GothamJungle – The Industry

Another week and the summer movies are winding down GoJu Nation. We’re at the point we’re the movie studios are hoping for a late summer gem to add to their bottom line and show the industry how smart they are.  This is a slot where  a “Superbad” type movie slides in and becomes the movie of the season.  Now I don’t know  if “The Other Guys” falls in that category but, it is the #1 movie this weekend and did very respectable.   It could be the star power (Eva Mendes, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Will Ferrell & Mark Wahlberg) or it could be that the team behind Will Ferrell biggest hits was at the helm.  Either way there’s a lil ways to go to recoup the movie budget but a solid 1st week nonetheless.   Read more, Click here...
